In a series of tweets Saturday, Wallace pulled the curtain back on some of Blaney's glaring imperfections. Bubba Wallace's first NASCAR start came in the very race that Blaney picked up his first win, Pocono Raceway. Bubba Wallace — the lone black driver in NASCAR — wants the stock car series with deep ties to the South to ban the Confederate flag at its properties and formally distance itself from what for millions is a symbol of slavery and racism.

But Blaney tweeted that he will "respectfully decline" the challenge so his fans can't see his dance moves.

Ryan Blaney, who is tight with Wallace, said he joined some of the "peaceful protests" in Charlotte, North Carolina.
